A SMALL TEAM WITH BIG IDEAS
Camp K12 was founded in 2010 by a Computer Science student from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) along with the former CEO of Apple India. Right from day one, we’ve maintained a high bar for talent and hiring — we have a grand vision for Education in India, and to execute it we’ve recruited the cream of the crop from India’s universities.
Our small, accomplished team of technology gurus and savvy business minds hails from some of the most reputed academic and professional institutions, including Google, Microsoft, Apple, McKinsey, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, and Delhi University.
ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Anshul Bhagi was born in Delhi but moved to California (USA) in his early school days. He was fortunate to be able to go to high-school in the heart of Silicon Valley — the home of companies such as Apple and Google and the epicenter of technological innovation and entrepreneurship. He quickly became infected by the tech bug and spent much of his free time in school enthusiastically coding Java games, creating Flash animations, designing websites, and always building something.
Anshul chose to attend MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) to pursue his undergrad and masters in Computer Science, and while there, developed a significant interest in Education. He spent several months traveling and teaching science and technology to students around the world on behalf of MIT, in places like Kenya, Italy, US, Brazil, and China. In 2010, Anshul conceptualized and launched Camp K12 in India, combining his interest in education with his longtime passion for technology. Through Camp K12’s fun and hands-on technology courses, Anshul hopes to expose Indian school students to the process of building things — be it mobile apps, games, movies, cartoons, or companies and organizations. One Camp K12 course at a time, Anshul and his team hope to inspire the next generation of young entrepreneurs in India.
